Part of natural processes is understanding spontaneous forms, and forms which occur natural around us. Sometime we need to take a closer look at the beauty of natural forms.

One of these processes that I’m inerested in is natural stratification.
What I was aiming for:


A model made by a student to try to replicate one of Frei Otto’s experiments.
Some of my own experiments - using sugar rather than sand. Maybe this is the problem?
How can this kind of micro textures be beneficial for insects? Could we see a new coating applied to all perforated metals that facilities insect life?
